PrEP on the Air: PrEP4Teens Team Appears on WBEZ Reset
On Tuesday, November 14th, 2023, several members of the PrEP4Teens team--Project Lead Jim Pickett, Community Partner & Director of TaskForce Prevention Chris Balthazar, Youth Leader Ryder Kennedy, and Community Muralist David Gauna--went live on the air to discuss the PrEP4Teens campaign on WBEZ’s daily talk show, “Reset with Sasha-Ann Simons.”
The show aired two PrEP4Teens segments: one with Jim, Chris, and Ryder talking about the importance of accessible sex ed & PrEP, how PrEP4Teens builds around community needs, and their work on the campaign. The second segment featured David talking about his artwork and community outreach work—including his work on creating the mural that went up at TaskForce Prevention that night!
